A dream Artist beyond her years, Helena Holleran is an 18 year old singer/songwriter/musician based in San Diego and Los Angeles. She has performed and collaborated with iconic players who have played with many greats: U2, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Emmy Lou Harris, Joni Mitchell, Michael Jackson, and more. Her music transcends to every age with signature vocals that touches the soul bringing chills to all who hear her music. Always pitch perfect, incredible tone, powerful, ethereal, songbird soul has been the usual talk describing this young and upcoming artist.
Self-taught and driven by her own passions, Helena is accomplished in guitar, piano, vocals, and songwriting - all of which helped her in developing a style that is completely unique. Her eclectic sound draws influence from 60's and 70's rock, R&B, folk, latin, pop, soul, and hints of jazz. When it comes to writing, Helena can be quite thought provoking and provocative. A story teller at heart, her original music pays homage to the artists she has studied and deeply appreciates across all decades such as Joni Mitchell, Simon & Garfunkel, Carole King, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder and more currently - John Mayer, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Ms. Lauryn Hill. It is clear she has the talent, work ethic, & charisma to have longevity in the music world.
At her young age, Helena has been fortunate enough to have rocked and packed the house at great venues including The House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe, Vitello’s Jazz Lounge, San Diego Music Box, and the Village Recording Studios, to name a few.
